Property Lawyer
Property Law & Conveyancing
An opportunity has arisen for a property lawyer to join our busy property law team.
As an important member of the firm, you will work alongside the Managing Partner, lawyers and conveyancer and will be responsible for full carriage of your own matters end to end.
You can expect to have carriage of a variety of matters including:
- Drafting commercial agreements and property documents
- Conveyancing transactions including residential, off the plan and commercial sales and purchases
- Commercial leasing
- Subdivisions, easements, positive covenants, options agreements and compulsory acquisitions
- Joint venture and development agreements, franchising, business sales and acquisitions
- Property due diligence
- PPSR and caveats
- Disputes including planning and building appeals, defect claims and strata claims
- Being responsible for client's matters start to finish.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum 12 months PQE experience in property or commercial law
- Confidence to have carriage of your own matters
- Good business acumen
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Be motivated, reliable and exhibit strong problem solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience using PEXA and LEAP (preferred).

Licenced Conveyancer
Property Law & Conveyancing
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced licenced conveyancer to join our busy property law team.
As an important member of the firm, you will work alongside the Managing Partner and property lawyers and will be responsible for full carriage of your own matters end to end.
You will look after a variety of matters including:
- Selling and purchasing of residential and commercial properties
- Off the plan
- Easements, positive covenants and subdivisions
- Put and call options
- Managing caveats and leases in PEXA
- Being responsible for client's matters from contract review right through to settlement.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experienced licenced conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years experience in a well rounded conveyancing role
- Confidence to work autonomously and have carriage of your own matters
- Work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, agents and referral partners
- Be able to build strong client relationships
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience using PEXA and LEAP (preferred).

Commercial Lawyer
Commercial Law
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced business / commercial / generalist lawyer to join our busy commercial team on a full-time basis.
You will effectively manage your own matters within the commercial law division and work with the Managing Partner to service current clients and grow the division in line with our 2023 strategy.
You will have full autonomy to run your own portfolio of matters including:
- Business and share sale / purchases;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements;
- Landlord and tenant leasing;
- Commercial disputes;
- Corporations Law.
About you
- Experience: At least 18 months+ post-admission experience paired with strong commercial knowledge and negotiation skills. While commercial law experience is ideal, generalists and practitioners in other areas of law (Building/Construction Law, Employment Law) will also be highly regarded;
- Entrepreneurial: Hungry for success and looking to take charge of your career and future development;
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills and demonstrated attention to detail;

Senior Accountant
Accounting
Calling all experienced accountants!
This is a PART TIME role that will suit someone with previous bookkeeping, accounting or tax experience, wanting to work in a professional environment while having the convenience of working close to home.
This role provides an array of accounting and tax support to our SME clients. Your tasks include:
- First point of contact for all of our clients accounting related questions
- Attending to client accounting operations including data entry, receivables, payables, payroll, BAS/IAS, reconciliations, journals
- Preparation of management accounts, month end reporting and EOFY reports and work papers
- Preparing tax returns for various entity structures
- Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and financial institutions as required
About You
- 2+ years experience as an accountant
- Experience preparing returns and activity statements for various legal entities
- Experience preparing accounts to trial balance
- Experience working with Xero
- Mature enough to handle yourself in a standalone role and flexible enough to work with the rest of the team when needed
- Have excellent communications skills and be confident dealing with people from all walks of life
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage your own time
- Demonstrate attention to detail and have outstanding administration skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum 12 months post admission experience in Criminal defence law including regular Court appearances
- Outstanding attention to detail and critical thinking skills

- Be able to work autonomously and have full carriage of matters while being flexible enough to be a team player and pitch in when needed
- Resilient and able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines, often with competing priorities
